This game, MVP, may be the most gourgious and intriguing game coming out this year...this being it's first year out. That said, this game is not the best game coming out probably this year. Now i'm not saying that this game is by any means going to be bad...because it won't be and in some gamers eyes this may be the best title coming out plus who would take my word for it if the game isn't even out yet. From what we already know this game does not include sliders(it think), player editor, minor league, pitcher warmups, more variety at the plate (perhaps adding a cursor option to go along with timed/pointing or a "guess" pitch option like High Heat), and the fact that this game is simply unproven. I know you can say w/e but other people and myself included still feel the pain of Triple Play so its hard to see an instant turn-around.
I'm just being skeptical of course. I'm actually siqued about the game. It's just that I think that while this year it may be a good game next year it will be the best.
If this game adds some things in the time between next seasons version it would greatly improve the way I look at the game.
1)player editor
2)deeper franchise
3)Minor leagers (preferably all three systems)
4)Clear up any bugs
5)animations
6)tune up of the game (overall)[pitcher warmups]
I know this probably seems stupid that i am already thinking about next years game but I wanted to express this for some reason that we may have more to get excited about next year when the game releases than the coming one. I'm not trying to discourage people from playing this game or w/e you might think with the who fanboyism thing. As for me though, i am patiently awaiting next year's game stock. It may have to be WSB this year for even though every game has problems. I just hope that MVP can improve with EA rather than decline. This game has a true chance to be one of the great's, if not this year, probably next.
