Maybe he has breathing problems. When I was a kid I used to have an inhaler, and that has some traces of steriods I believe in it.

False. Peter Gammons is paid to be Peter Gammons. Just having him in their employment is a huge credit to ESPN. He has connections that other analysts could only dream of having. If you think ESPN has or expects to have much of a leash on him then you're nuts. When you're as big and entrenched as Gammo you do and say what you want and if people don't like it, tough.

No, it's not tough. I just dont' watch.

Peter Gammons is still the best Baseball analyst on ESPN.

Tim Kurkjian is decent, Jayson Stark is better for his "Rumblings and Grumblings" and obscure facts that he writes about than actually talking about the game, Buster Olney is a tool, Steve Phillips is a moron and most of the ex-players suck.

I would rather listen to a "senile" Peter Gammons over most of those guys any day.

Its possible that we just caught the last line of a 3 minute conversation during commercial break. Something like congress asked Clemens if he ever used steroids and he said "Yes, I did my steroids this morning". Who knows what it was about.

              Rectum, I nearly killed him.
