take it off that sissy zone batting and use the classic cursor and you wont be winning trust me dont take the easy way out use a cursor and you wont win all the time....Im 4-7 with it on allstar classic cursor and NORMAL pitching.....And if you dont have it on NORMAL pitching then out it on and trust me you wont win all the time.

Zone hitting is not sissy!
Anyway, I dont like cursor batting. And yes I do play with normal pitching.
But like I said, its not me. Everything you mentioned is for offense. I never said I hit to much. Its that the CPU is a bunch of morons. plain and simple.
My ERA in the last 15 games is like 2.45 or something.

I'm 1-11 with the dbacks no roster changes. Normal cursor, veteran level, nomal pitching. I had the lead in about 5 of those games going into the 7th but made some bad decisions and pitches. The errors always come back to bite you too. My hitting is average and i'm leaving a lot of runners stranded.

I aggree the zone hitting is way to easy. I like trying to place my hits with the normal cursor. I'm having a blast with this game but it is the hardest baseball game i've played. Hopefully WSB will be this tough.

I dont think zone hitting is easy. I still strike out 7-8 times a game. I only average 5-8 hits a game. Same with the CPU, its just that they strand way to many runners on base.

If your pitching too well.....turn the pitching aid off and the vibration off...then start playing...Guarantee you will have more trouble. Then you will start complaining about the game being too difficult.

if you cant play it on cursor then your really not tha good sorry to tell you that but its true.....Im not trying to hurt your feelings but if you were winning on allstar with the cursor then id say you were really good but your not, plus all most every game out there is cursor batting so if your good your good if your not your not but dont say your wining like your that good if you havent played the game on cursor with maked the game harder.....so if you want to get beat by the computer play with cursor....Im playing it on allstar with normal picthing and usig the classic curosr and its not easy at all by any means so hust try it this way for the best chalange and just make sure your on allstar dubble check...

Come on FWhite. what has the batting cursor have to do with the CPU's offense. You keep suggesting that I try the classic cursor, for what, so I can strike out more, so I can get less hits thus score less runs.

As I said before, my offense is not a problem. You act as if I get on base every inning and hit homers all day. Sometimes I can get a win with just a 3 hitter, and 1 run. The problem is the CPU not trying for a triple on a shot to the gap, its the CPU not bunting with a pitcher when there is a runner on third and less than two outs, the problem is the CPU not advancing its runner on a groundout, the problem is the CPU always seem to hit a foul pop up when there is runners in scoring position, another problem is players who have been hot over the last ten games face my team and go 0 for the series.

So please, please, stop suggesting that I switch my cursor. I'm very happy with the stats I get from my non-cursor. My team batting average is 248. So the cursor is not the deal. The deal is my luck against the CPU.

But as of right now, I currently have a saved game at home against the Cards in the top of the 14th. Mabey I will lose then, mabey I will win again. Who knows. But 14 wins out of 16 games with an expansion team seems like somethings not right.
BTW, my record is 19-9. I was 7-8 when I went on this nasty streak.
