Re: HH player ratings
i have simulated about ten seasons just to see what the stats would be and this is what i found out.
1. majority of the players(mostly the star players) play until at least the age of 40 years old.
2. superstars end their final year with pretty much the same stats as if they were in the prime of their careers. The stats are between .300-.350ba----35-45hrs----100-145rbi. in their final year. As for pitchers this is what i can remember 15-20wins----2.00-3.00era-----and about 200strikeouts.
it is kind of disappointing that they dont decline with age and stats dont go beyond ten years. but it is still a very challenging game
i hope this answers your questionComment

Do you have the PS2 version or the X-box version? I was hoping that the X-box version wouldn't cut the stats off after 10 years because of the HD on the Xbox.
I was also wondering if there are awards at the end of the season(MVP, Silver Slugger) and Hall of Famers and can you break records such as McGwire's record?
Thanks in advanceComment

I have the ps2 version.
They only have 5--MVP,TOP PITCHER,TOP CLOSER,ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AND TRIPLE CROWN WINNER FOR EACH LEAGUE.
Yes there are HALL OF FAMERS at the end of each season.
Nobody breaks MCGWIRE'S RECORD.
They do have milestones that I have seen some people get like 200 wins,300 wins,500 homers and I think 500 steals.
But the only people that really reach the milestones are the players that have I would say about at least 5 years in the big leagues already.
If you need anything else I will try to find out for you.Comment
