last years version i could run the bases easily. this year is different. please help me. here is the situation. runner on second and a base hit. i want the runner to come home and the hitter to stop @ first. i use the L1 to advance on the hit but can never get my hitter to stop at first using the O button and pushing to first on D pad. please help me. i didnt have a problem last year but this year it is killing me. thanks in advance.

Yea, I'm kinda having the same problem...as a matter of fact, I'm even having trouble just advancing a single runner with the triangle button. I'm working on it, maybe my problem is that I get so frantic and start pushing the d pad and the button like crazy. I'm gonna try to find out which button to push at which time and try to time this better...I think we're just not pushiing it at the correct time or possibly in the correct order. I'll work on it, and get back to you. -

yeah, it seems that i actually get flustered and screw it up even more. last year it seemed that as long as you hit O when the runner had just hit first that there was no problem. this year is a different story.Comment

I'm in the same boat as you guys...using triangle and circle works like 1 out of 10 times on the first try. I dunno if its a timing issue or what, but I'm struggling with it.Comment
