How do you know when a roster update has come out?

I clicked on roster download, and it connected and then started downloading...but how do you know if a new update has come in. It's not like madden where a screen comes up and you select the roster you want...it simply connects andthen starts downloading. Hmm???

there will be a checkmark by the roster, if you have already downloaded it. They will be labeled, roster 1, roster 2 etc...

has there been an update yet for ps2. i downloaded the roster update the other day and it was the same as default roster. did i screw something up or just no update yet

You didn't screw anything up. There has been no roster updates as far as I know...defaults still seem to be in effect.

no, there is a roster update....I downloaded it, and I got something a little different than the default roster. Some of my minor leaguers are a little different for the Rangers, but still no Teixiera
I don't know what I'm doing right now with this game. It's great, but it really makes you think hard, my head hurts

You know what...thats my bad....I don't think there is one, you can download one, but I think its basically a default roster. Rick Helling isn't on the Orioles yet, Reggie isn't on the Pirates, Lofton isn't with the Giants. I'm figuring stuff out about this game....Remember this, I really only deal with the Rangers rosters, but default rosters have a certain amount of players (even on the minors) that will be there every start up, but there are some minors that will be random for every team. Thats the way I'm seeing it. I get about 10 guys that are simply random, every start up, its a little different. No Roster update yet.
