    MLB 2004!!

I think we are doing a little injustice here by dismissing MLB in 2004!! I thought this was a great playing game on the ps1 (even compared to ps2 titles), and will make a strong showing on the ps2. What do you guys think .

well isaw a commercial for it last night during the sixers game. Looks to be on par with the other 989 games, sub-par graphics, choppy animations. It doesnt realy seem to offer anything new. I dont know, i guess we'll wait and see

Sods i have it on preorder and i do agree MLB 2004 is getting dismissed. The bottom line comes to this,if the game is fun,the hell with what other people think. I admitt watching the MVP tutorial and videos of WSB is intriguing but game control is important to me. I loved MLB on ps1 with the full control over diving and jumping. WHy arent any of these other game utilizing full contol of defense and baserunning? I dont want the computer to determine if its going to jump the fence to snag homeruns or dive to create a double play!

I played this final version of this year's game. Plays a lot like ASB, but animations and extras aren't as strong. Batting stances and faces are very good.

I'm glad someone else said somthing. As a test I poped in MLB 2000 last night and this game plays better then both HH and ASB. If 989 can make the jump from the PS1 to the PS2 this game will rock.

Yah Gameday and Faceoff were decent on the PS1 also, look what they did on the PS2. I think this game from everything I've seen is just another sub par 989 sports game.

To Fat Pitcher I know you are a WSB guy. But how is the feilding in MLB 04 is it smooth or is it choped up like ASB. Also is the batting real easy because of the huge cursor.
