WSB looked a little stale. Manny jacked a 480+ HR off Johnson and not really any noise from the crowd. But MVP does look a bit arcadish... do either of these games have tuning sliders?

It also seems that the 2nd baseman always does the jump pivot in turning the double play. I liked it the 1st time I saw it, but now, I've seen it turned that way EVERY time.

i cannot agree more mvp looked very arcadish to me and i cant wait for this game either

WSB has a ton of sliders, but WSB can't possible out do MVP in pitching or hitting. Those are two major factors.

MVP does look a bit arcadish, but it looks beautiful, and as long as it's still fun to play, i'll probably get it. Heck, i'll probably get WSB too. I'm not too crazy about the Home Run replays though - they focus on the batter getting out of the box a little too much. I want to see some more of the ball in flight!

Also, those double play's are pretty sweet looking, but does the second basemen do that jump-mid-air-spin on EVERY 6-4-3 double play?

and his follow threw?

Also, i was wondering, if they had Signature moves, like Sammy doing the Hop or Berry Bonds leg pose?

i might of possibly considered MVP if there was a cursor. I understand that in baseball hitting is timed but you still have to put the bat on the ball. So that said WSB takes the CAKE this year but maybe next year if MVP will include a batting cursor i will consider it

Looks like sega is doing the cutaway cam right for the homeruns like asb. also those batting stances and animations are just plain weak looking. those are the same ones since world series on dreamcast. i also dont like how the players all go into the same stance right before they swing just like in allstar. why cant they just swing out of their signature stance instead of taking a shortcut and having all the players go into the same stance before they swing so they can use the same animation.
