The Reds come to Chicago for a return series and lo and behold Ken Griffey Jr. is batting 8th for them. What? He hit where he was supposed to when I played the Reds in Cincy, he's leading the team in hitting and went 4-4 against me out of the 8 spot. When I check set line ups Griffey is listed in all lineups where he should be.
Thinking this was a glitch or one game aberration, I go on to game 2 of the series and that 4-4 was good enough to move him up to 7th in the batting order. Not good.
I can understand him being moved down to 6th or 7th against a tough lefty; but not against any right handed pitcher.
Is there anyway to see and adjust the other teams lineup before a game without being in the franchise mode where there are no injuries or trades?
I can overlook all the popups and some incorrect official scoring, but if stuff like this is just starting to expose a problem with the ai logic....than my excitement for this game(which is high right now) could be flushed right down the toilet.
Anyone else running into crazy, poor ai logic in this regard?
