    pitcher fatigue???

how does the fatigue slider actually work.
i was playing a game against the d'rays and i had mussina on the mound. i think it was around the 4th inning and mussina has only thrown about 40 pitches and the d'ray pitcher as thrown about 70 pitches and the pitching fatigue meter was exactly the same for both pitchers. I dont remember the name of the pitcher but i checked his endurance and it was lower than mussina's. can anybody explain this? this is not the first time that it has happen to me.

        Re: pitcher fatigue???

I've noticed an odd thing in the pitcher fatigue bar during games a couple of times. Twice I've seen the fatigue bar get "stuck" at a certain level. One time the starting pitcher for the CPU was moving along as usual until the 3rd or 4th inning. He was throwing 10-12 pitches per inning and was down to around 75% on the fatigue bar. He then continued on to the 8 inning, throwing 90+ pitches and the bar was still at the same spot, around 75%. Now, it did seem to me that his control was getting worse and his pitch speeds were slowing some, so I think the bar not moving may just be a graphical bug, instead of the pitcher actually stopping fatiguing.

It seems to me that if you are scoring/playing productively on offense, the CPU fatigue goes down quicker (if you compare the same CPU pitch count when scoring and when being shut out).

I do agree that the player fatigue tends to go quicker than the CPU's, but I can not figure out how to fix that. It is not how hard the button is pressed when pitching, because I have tried tapping it all game and pounding it all game. I put my fatigue slider on 7, nonetheless, as when most pitchers (human controlled) get to about 60-70 pitches, they should start to labor. Remember, getting to 100 pitches in a game these days is uncommon.

If anyone finds out how to match the fatigue for the CPU with the human controlled player, I would love to know.
