    traded players disappear

    I had a one for one trade( NOT UNEVEN) and both players have disappeared from the game completely. I traded a high minor player for a major league player. The trade was approved and showed up in the transactions. The other team even made a move to fill that roster spot. But both players involved in the trade are gone.
    I don't know if the fact that I had a 25 man ML roster and acquired another that was designated as a MLer threw the game off. I figured I would be prompted to make a roster move after the trade was complete. Why would I want to waste an option on a player before I know a trade goes through?
    Well....franchise sure looks deep and I'm loving playing every game...but I dont see the point in delving into seasons of one franchise when trading could turn into disaster. It's a shame I was looking forward to digging into the offseason stuff as much as I am enjoying playing the first season......disappointing

      First of all, you don't waste options on guys....options are good the whole year....for example, if a guy has 2 options, that means he can be sent up and down all you want for 2 years.....they are considered option years. So you wouldn't waste an option.

          First of all, you don't waste options on guys....options are good the whole year....for example, if a guy has 2 options, that means he can be sent up and down all you want for 2 years.....they are considered option years. So you wouldn't waste an option.

              I see...thanks for clearing that up....I still don't think that should make a difference about the trade bug. I love the game; but I don't think I'm the only one that will be turned off of multi-season franchises because you can't trade(or do so at your own peril). All that time they put into building that deep franchise mode is going to waste. It's surprising they wouldn't take the time to check something like that. Like I said, all those new features are going to go unused by alot of people. It's just strange.
