Re: how will you dive for balls?
I wish they had an option to switch your fielding from automatic to manual. Seems strange that EA would force you to have no manual diving controls. That's one of my favorite parts of fielding in HH last year (and most baseball games).
Maybe next year.Comment

Re: how will you dive for balls?
I think that jumping and diving should have been auto all along, if you think about it, it adds a lot of realism to the game. Based on a fielders ability, it will be more likely that you will come up with that big catch. and if they are phil nevin they will dislocate their shoulder (doh!) I mean, jumping and diving is all about the outfielder making a break on a ball and getting himself in a good diving postion and then reatcing where it will be when he gets there. If you are running hard at a ball and get close but you don't hit a little button at the exact time it is a hit, with this implemented you can see how valuable an andruw jones is in center. I like the auto diving the best though on those shots that are screamers down the line where the switch from zooms don't allow to pick up your third or firstbasemen in time and the comp. will snag it for you if the fielder is good enough(J.T. Snow).Comment
