    Canseco back at it again

    Supposedly Canseco's new book comes out next week and he accusses Clemens, Magglio Ordonez, and A-Rod of taking steroids.

    As for Alex Rodriguez, Canseco says he didn't inject Rodriguez, but that he "introduced Alex to a known supplier of steroids." Canseco didn't mention Rodriguez in the first book because he "hated the bastard." He was worried that people would have "questioned [his] motives" had he included Rodriguez.

    Why all the hatred, you ask. Well, Canseco claims that A-Rod was trying to sleep with Canseco's wife. Apparently, even after Canseco had been nice enough to help A-Rod find a friendly steroids supplier, A-Rod kept calling Canseco's wife.

    And, in case there's any further confusion about Canseco's true feelings, he ends the chapter by saying:

    So A-Rod, if you're reading this book, and if I'm not getting through to you, let's get clear on one thing: I hate your ****ing guts.

                  I wish a guy with more creditability would write a book. It's hard to take anything that Canseco seriously, even knowing what we know now.

                      Now that Jose has some semblence of vindication, he's going out against everyone. Sadly, people will still call him bitter, angry, vengeful, but... people will believe him.

                          I read Canseco's last book and believed it.

                          How can you say he is lying when a lot of the names he mentioned were eventually linked to steroids. Everyone said he was crazy because he name Palmeiro. Then Raffy promptly failed a drug test.

                          Canseco may be a loose cannon but I think there is some truth to what he is saying.

                                  Why does Canseco lack credibility? Didn't he more or less out Palmeiro, and well we saw how that turned out. I'd like to be able to dismiss what Canseco says as the ramblings of a washed up former All Star, but history has shown him in a different light.

                                      He actually wrote that? Uh, doesn't that ruin any objectivity when you let things get emotional like that?

                                          It is virtually impossible to win a libel case when you are a celebrity like A-Rod, especially if you have anything to hide.

                                              From my understanding, he doesn't accuse Arod of using steroids. He just claims to have introduced him to a known supplier. Who knows if Arod even knew who he was being introduced to.

                                              Wasn't Canseco being investigated by the Feds for attempting to blackmail Magglio Ordonez? Something about having Magglio invest in a business venture in exchange for not including him in the original "Juiced".

                                                  Although I guess the point could be made that so many of these players have used or have been accused of using that Bonds was the best of all of them. He's still a dickhead though Too many times was he a jerk when I met him while he played for the Pirates. Van Slyke was the same way.
