One thing really different about the X-box version is that the stadiums seem to be more dimensional, i get the feeling I am in the stadium especially when the ball is hit near the walls.

Very cool thing happened
First I hit one of the strangest little nubbers down the first base line, then my guy on second thought the CPU would still try to get the guy at first so he rounded third, but then realized he had to get back, he got back in time, but he overran 3rd and was tagged out, pretty cool, i don't think I have ever seen that before.

Wanna hear something cool . . . I was playing and Eric Karros struck out looking. He started arguing with the ump and got ejected. I have never seen that. -

Re: Very cool thing happened
I tried to nail a runner at home from CF....I wasn't going to get him so I cut the ball off and nailed the guy trying to take 3rd...sweet.
I had won 4 in a row with my Dodgers by pretty much destroying the Pads(MVP level)...sim level 7. I then ran into Schilling....7 k's and a CG later...I lost 8-2.
I love this game.teaching.............still fun
video games........I wish my boys would let me play

Re: Very cool thing happened
Same thing happened to me today! Darrin Erstad was arguing with the ump over a called third strike. Usually I would press a button to skip the animation, but today I didn't. He got ejected from the game. I wonder if I had pressed the button, maybe he would stop arguing?? Just a thought, ha ha.Comment

Ya you get the sense of being there more on the Xbox version. The hh graphics take an unfair hit imo, they implement it in a 3d style which gives a better sense of playing in a stadium. ONe thing about asb stadiums I don't like is the facade aspect they implement their stadiums in. But in HH, they are truly 'ballparks'. Another thing that HH does great is the player to field to stadium proportions. They are dead on especially when you are chasing down fly balls.Hey there Ralphie boy!Comment

Re: Very cool thing happened
Cooksu,
Had a similar thing happen. I was the Cubs, tie game versus the Reds. One out, Reds have a guy on third, and they hit a grounder to Bobby Hill. The third base runner takes off but stops when Hill grabs the ball. I hold it for second and he doesn't go home, and when I get the throw into first he went back to third. It was very smart as I would have nailed the runner at home, but I also felt like he was trying to bait me into throwing home so I wouldn't get the out at first.Comment
