At least you've got a real GM now, that has to be worth something.

That's true. Although the current GM is the guy who signed Byung Hyun Kim to a major league deal when no other team offered him anything more than a minor league deal (that was the Giants). At least they got it right in the end, but they're out 300K from the buyout.

As you said, at least they got it right before the season started. The Twins have an ugly recent history of doing the same thing, but not making use of buyouts (why waste a few hundred thousand when you can waste millions instead).

No, I think we all saw it (at least I did) but felt like running with the Bunghole Kim story anyway.

No, you know he got a waiver because he pitched so well in the Asian games many years back they gave him a waiver.

Wow, way to derail the thread. I get so tired of this in the baseball forum. Everytime someone posts ANYTHING, sooner or later it gets turned into a Pittsburgh Pirates or Minnesota Twins thread. Seriously, it's almost as bad as all the Kobe talk in the NBA forum. I just wish one time that someone posted a thread without any talk of Pittsburgh or Minnesota's management completely derailing the thread.

It's a travesty I tell ya, a travesty. How dare anything not Bonds / 'Roids / Clemons / Yankees / Red Sox / Phillie-award-winners-who-weren't-good-selections get discussed here.

I know this is a softball lob, but if there were ever an injury custom made for Albert Pujols an anal fissure is it!

That made me laugh out loud.
