More specifically, I am REALLY liking what i see so far from MVP as far as gameplay. I really like the throwing meters in the field ( i think fielding gameplay is equally important to pitching/hitting gameplay) One sour note is that i hear diving and leaping are automatic.....one thing i like about WSB is that there is freedom to dive and jump as you please. However, i really like how the gameplay in MVP is becoming less pre-determined dice-roll and more player skill.
As far as hitting goes....the controlled, cursorless hitting seems pretty cool.....however it seems a bit unrealistic....Im worried that after i "master" the game, i will always be able to get the timing down correctly and therefore always be able to hit it where i want to hit it. With that being said, WSB now has the hitting based on physics which seems much more realistic....the ball goes where you want it to depending on how early or late you swing.......Im worried that these concerns im having cant be ironed out just by renting them both first....i guess i wonder which one will have more replay value based on gameplay alone. It seems like both games should be great this year. Also, one more note, from the footage ive seen, the atmosphere in MVP seems better than in WSB....it seems more lively with the crowed an PA music....
Im curious if what im describing is a perplexing issue to others as well.....which games gameplay will make the game more fun to play as the baseball season goes on?
