I have heard people saying that the crowd is too quiet on WSB on the new videos, especially on the A-Rod and Manny homeruns. I disagree. If you look it's the TOP of the 3rd when they hit them so they are the away team. Would you expect the crowd to go wild if an opposing player hits a homerun? Look at the 3rd video and listen to the crowd on the Smoltz strikeout. I thought it was pretty loud. Anyway, thats just my opinion.

good point but i pretty sure that when the manny and a-rod hit the homerun they were the home team it was in comitsky and it was the all star game

No, it was during the top of the inning, and i doubt that it was an actual all-star game, it was probably just an exhibition with the all-star teams, so it treated the nationals like the home team, not like an all-star game where they would cheer a good play regardless of what team it was.

No, it was during the top of the inning, and i doubt that it was an actual all-star game, it was probably just an exhibition with the all-star teams, so it treated the nationals like the home team, not like an all-star game where they would cheer a good play regardless of what team it was.

Yeah, it was like this last year. Home team homers make the crowd go wild and they even carry on for a while. But not visiting team homers.

Yeah, the crowd usually responds well when its a home team. I don't think the crowd will be a big concern in WSB2k3 this year.

crowd reacts great to away homers also, one of the first videos released shows the A's vs. Yanks, and chavez drops like a 450 foot bomb to left, and all you hear is like a collective sigh from the bronx crowd

If you all remember/didn't know... the Ramirez/Rodriguez movie is from the 85% beta build. I'm sure the last 15% is for bug fixing, polishing, glitch fixing, and finally... crowd noise.
