Single Season Accurate Roster question
Ok, I am the type of guy who enjoys playing the single season mode in High Heat. I have been playing around and simming games for one whole season and much to my displeasure at the end almost every teams rosters were completely inaccurate. I have figured out how to stop cpu trades to other teams but there are a few things I can't seem to control. Is there any way to stop the cpu from randomly cutting players off the roster? I have tried both controlling just one team and I have tried controlling all the teams and it still cuts players. And another thing, at the end of the season the lineups were all screwed up like having Dye leadoff and K. Sasaki not the closer anymore!!!! I know I am anal but I just really like having accurate rosters like the real thing. Can I do anything to change this?Tags: None -

Re: Single Season Accurate Roster question
No game does this correctly.
ASB hides the fact they change rosters on you. In simmed games the CPU selects the best line-up. So you are only saving your roster for human played games.
Back to HH, I don't think there is any way to change this.Comment

I sware High Heat 03 was great in this area. I played with the A's and didn't remeber any case where people were either cut, traded, or starting lineups/rotation completely changed aroundComment

Re: Single Season Accurate Roster question
Without controlling all teams and turning injuries off, as others have said, about the only way they could prevent the CPU-controlled teams from making roster changes is to have a "No Minors" option in Single Season Mode. Having minors at its disposal and AI logic to try to field the best team it can, the CPU is always going to make any moves it feels will help the team.Comment
