what's your fave home run celebration? mine has to be Manny Ramirez. When he hits one thats goin out, he never even looks at it, he just drops the bat and puts his head down, he doesn't need to watch cuz he knows its gone.

Paul O'Neill use to do the same thing. He'd hit the ball, put his head down and then trot down the basepaths.
I also enjoy how Bernie, on a sure shot (in a big game), throws the bat in the air as soon as he hits the ball.
ARod's bat switch from his left hand to his right hand as he trots to first and watches the ball leave is pretty kool b/c it's so simple.
One of my all time favorites is Griffey's. His arm naturally comes up around his neck area and his right arm just hangs down with the bat to his side. He just walks for about three steps and then trots down first."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
