The best example I can think of is Splinter Cell on the XBOX. I have a 47 inch widescreen TV and that game didnt support Widecreen. When I played it in stretch mode Sam Fisher looked like Mo Vaughn's white brother (old Mo of course, I hear he's lost like 40 pounds this summer
). Everything on the screen is "stretched" to fill the screen. A circle becomes an oval and so on.

since my Widescreen HDTV does not support 720p resolution(only supports 480p and 1080i) and will run the game in 480p, will the game still be in widescreen? I think it will because NBA2K3 does, but want to make sure.Comment
