                    Even though I like games with a lot of user control I can see part of EA's reason to dive and jump automatically. One interview made the point that you need to choose the best line to the ball, this will make playing outfield a little more strategic, than just running quickly for the circle.
                    The only time this may not be good is when:
                    A ground ball is quickly hit and normally I wouldn't react quick enough to dive and a hit would get through, which is okay becase of reaction time, but if the cpu dives for me I will make more of those plays so it will be harder for the cpu to get hits off of ground balls.
