I am torn between the classic cursor or zone hitting, with exagerated pitches "on" and in Veteran level, with no strike zone. I hate the 3D cursor concept (yoou shouldnt be able to "point" to where you want to hit the ball BEFORE you even see the pitch) but love the 2D Classic cursor because where the ball goes depends on where and when ot makles contact on the bat. Zone hitting is nice because it gives you that clean, "uncluttered" look at the pitch, but I don't feel the same "satisfaction" as I do when I perfectly line up the cursor and drive the ball. I am also curious what u think is easier...zone or classic? I am having a hard time geting more than a few hits per game and wiff 10-15 times per game.

i use 3d cursor, and i havent had any problems with it. i havent tried any of the other versions though -

I am going through the same dilemma, I have tried the classic cursor for a while but strike out too much, now I am trying zone batting with NORMAL pitch speed that way I feel some satisfaction if I hit the ball well. ANybody else?Comment

I've been using Classic.... I have not had to many strikeouts, had a wide variety of hits and a steady flow of homeruns. Also, I haven't had too many hits as I had with normal. IMO, classic is pretty balanced.

I'll be sticking with this setup:
-Normal cursor
-Exaggerated pitching
-Veteren level
Last night I exploded for 25 runs on 31 hits (19 doubles, 1 triple and 2 HRs). Quite the ridiculous outburst of offense. I'll go up to All-Star if that continues. Of course, that was against the Pirates, so...New England Patriots

I use easy batting, all star, and generated count. I don't get a lot of strikeouts, but I get an average of 6-12 hits a game and about 0-4 runs. Yes Exaggerated is easier to hit....it slows down pitches....( perhaps by 10-15% ? )
I am getting realistic results with this setting...I may jump up to All Star if things get a bit too easy but right now, Im losing to the good teams and am getting challenged by the mediocre squads and even am randomly losing to the poor teams...so far, so good.Comment
