    RickRoll the Mets

Digg is where people go to look at cool things while they eat a big bowl of cereal.

This is hilarious- as a Mets fan, I would warmly embrace this. The other songs suck for sing-alongs and I don't want to touch Sweet Caroline (the Sox can have it).

Hopefully, the collective power of the Internet will make this dream come true.

Heh, I saw this on Digg before and wrote it in. It would be hilarious if this actually happened.

It'll be funny when Billy Wagner blows saves, Rick Astley will give them false hope.

this should now be the entrance music to either LaTroy Hawkins or Kyle Farnsworth after last night's terrific outing

Haha, you're just like all my other Met fan friends. They bring up the Yankees to compare at any mention of faults with the Mets . Fair enough, LaTroy and Kyle Farnsworth are lamers. But Joba and Mo makes the one of the best closer-setup men combos in the league right now.

                      Taken from Newsday.com --

                      4:06 p.m.

You got to hand it to digg.com, deadspin.com and fark.com. They scored a big one.

In the Mets' online poll to determine what song they're going to play in the eighth inning, the people at those Web sites organized a campaign to write-in Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."

                      Sure enough, the song won.

Give the Mets credit for playing it, too, although the public address announcer essentially explained how they got punked. He told the 56,000 people here they were "Rick-rolled."

As the song played, Mets fans booed
