How does WSB handle DEFENSIVE RATINGS for players?

I was just curious about this and really havent seen much mention of this in the game. I feel that DEFENSIVE PLAYER RATINGS are just as important in defining a player as their offensive ratings and help further add variety to the different players in MLB as well as add more strategic thinking when assemblying your team and lineup each game.

One of the things I found very realistically done in this year's version of ASB is the way the game incorporates many different ratings such as SPEED, RANGE, GLOVE, ect to really create distinguishable differences in the player's defensive skills and allows for a greater variety of possible scenarios and outcomes when a ball is hit in the field.

So you really can see a speedy guy like Roger Cedeno in the outfield still struggle because his RANGE and GLOVE are low.
Can anyone tell me how WSB 2K3 is going to handle defensive ratings and what possible attributes will make up a player's defensive skills?

    thanks

Guy just wants to ask a question, stop with the flaming. He made the request nicely and he didn't attack WSB. He had to give you a reference point to explain what he was asking for. Damn, as soon as you mention another game in this link, people let loose the dogs For the record, Im pretty sure WSB will be the best overall game this year. But ASB isn't that bad. Its actually a very good game (it blows the other games away in terms of details.... only game to get my role model "Big" Mo Vaughn right ). In fact, if it had a completely High Heat batting/pitching model, I probably wouldn't even be buying WSB. But thats my opinion. Maybe I should be flamed. The other guy didn't deserve the attack.

I'd love to know this too

I dont think any game since Earl Weaver baseball has been able to do this part of a game right

Judging from what I saw on the videos it looks like too many infielders charge the ball and throw it on the run. this is something I didnt like last year. I would like to see more basic fielding where an infielder will just setup, squat and field the ball normally instead of making every play look like an espn highlight reel bang bang play.

Also something that Im not sure about is how all the batters swing. They appear to not completely follow thru but seem to have a rubberband swing that resets back to their batting stance too quickly. it looks to fast. Also pitcher windups dont seem to kick their legs high enough in their motion

If there is one thing WSB does better than anyone else it's the pitcher wind ups. I think I agree with you on the follow through swings though.
