I was just curious about this and really havent seen much mention of this in the game. I feel that DEFENSIVE PLAYER RATINGS are just as important in defining a player as their offensive ratings and help further add variety to the different players in MLB as well as add more strategic thinking when assemblying your team and lineup each game.
One of the things I found very realistically done in this year's version of ASB is the way the game incorporates many different ratings such as SPEED, RANGE, GLOVE, ect to really create distinguishable differences in the player's defensive skills and allows for a greater variety of possible scenarios and outcomes when a ball is hit in the field.
So you really can see a speedy guy like Roger Cedeno in the outfield still struggle because his RANGE and GLOVE are low.
Can anyone tell me how WSB 2K3 is going to handle defensive ratings and what possible attributes will make up a player's defensive skills?

For the record, Im pretty sure WSB will be the best overall game this year. But ASB isn't that bad. Its actually a very good game (it blows the other games away in terms of details.... only game to get my role model "Big" Mo Vaughn right 
). In fact, if it had a completely High Heat batting/pitching model, I probably wouldn't even be buying WSB. But thats my opinion. Maybe I should be flamed. The other guy didn't deserve the attack.
