Some people on the gamefaqs website are claiming that after you get hit, if you press X, you can charge the mound and possibly incite a bench-clearing brawl and player ejections. Is this true? Has this happened to anyone here?

It would happen last year. It was the same animation if you won the game though, playesr running around in circles. -

I wanna know if there are really suspensiosn though. Someone, probably the same guy you are talking about, said if you charge the mound you get suspended. I haven't seen it, but would like to know if that happens, it would be pretty frickin' cool.Comment

I did that last year with Magglio Ordonez, there is a bit of a prestory though. Basically, a pitcher hit Maggs in the beginning of the season, and he was out for about a month, when he came back, it was against the same pitcher, so he comes up to bat, I peg him, then Mags comes up, gets beaned, I charge the mound with him, he gest suspened about a week, so I didnt have a lot of Mags for about a month, the lesson: DONT CHARGE THE MOUND WITH IMPORTANT PLAYERS!Comment

I charged the mound yesterday, and didnt get a suspension. I don't even see a supsension section in the league news section like there was last year.

I also heard that after you charge, you can actually punch in order to get a suspension but this remains to be seen. Personally, I am just awestruck that I can charge at my own will. That is just cool.Comment

I really doubt that one. MLB doesn't like the fact that you can even charge the mound, I am sure they wouldn't let you through punches.Comment
