I haven't played anyone with any injury, no. What I want to figure out is if it matters or not, if their skills are effected. If leaving only 25 points in training and medical makes it take twice the time for my guys to recover, that's fine. I just want to make sure it's not a glitch in the game.

I have an expansion team with a butt-load of fringe players so having one out doesn't make that big a difference, I just want to know what's going on.

Probably because you gave so few points to the training staff and medical staff...if you look at the other teams, they all range in the 30's, most teams are fairly equal with their allotment to all categories...I gave a few more to the coaching and scouting dpt....but I still game 30+ to the medical and training staff. Of course, I'm the Rangers, I have the 3rd largest budget in the majors, allows me to give lotsof points.

Well, the ammount of points I put towards the medical/ training categories is one less than the Royals and Brewers, and I think the Pirates. They all have 26 points, I have 25. However, on the injuries page they're had guys come back from injury. My guy in question jammed his wrist on March 10th or something, and it said he'd be out a few days, and it's now April 26th. I'm continually told he's okay to come back but when I go to the adjustment page he still has the injury listed, so I leave him on the D.L. I have a pitcher scheduled to come back the 29th so I'll see what happens with him, but at this point I have to figure it's a glitch and activate them.

Could be a glitch. This was a glitch in last year's game. I had C Charles Johnson get hurt for two weeks and he was on the DL the entire season. Every time I tried to activate him, his injury would re-appear. I had hoped that was fixed this year.

Maybe this is coincidence but I remember the injury bug happened to me when I was an expansion team last year. Maybe a bit of coding glitch in expansion injuries? I don't know.

I figured it out, people have day to day lingering injuries that last them the whole season. In real life when a player gets hurt, sometimes it hurts him for a while, but he plays through it. In this game as the Mets for instance I had Timo go down with an injury for a month, put him on the DL and was healed, and I had Floyd go down for 2 days with a sore wrist and it lasted him the whole season. The thing is when you get to next season he is "healthy". So that answers all your questions.

Okay, for my own peace of mind I'm going to assume this last post is correct, having a sprained wrist could conceivably irritate one for a whole season, especially if your team (as in my case) skimps on trainers. I guess I'll activate Buchanan. I'm just wondering if I'd spent a ton of points on the training if it would've heal him. I hope so.

I haven't had any injuries to recover from. I'm almost through May with my Cubs franchise and have yet to have an injury of any kind....not even a day to day thing....how often are the rest of you getting some type of injuries? It's great...I'm in 1st place and everything....I have a feeling I'll get a barrage of injuries just in time for a June swoon.
