Curse The Cursor

With some much critism of the cursor, even by those that use it, why not just go to All Star, easy batting? Does that make the game too much a sim or does it take away from the gamer's opportunity to exhibit his skill(hand eye coordination,etc.)?

People complain too much, just find one you're comfortable with and don't gripe. So far, I'm having great success with normal batting.

the way i look at it is,its just a video game!! people gripe so much over a game. i love my games dont get me wrong but thats what they are games!!

You can improve your 'normal cursor' batting skills if you just go to batting practice.

I did that with Manny, then won my next game in my franchise 2-0 against the Padres...

After a nap, I woke up and tried to play the D'Backs and I got murdered.

This game is just like real-life. If you don't hit for a while, you will suck it at. You have to practice with no pressure (Batting Practice) to do good in games.

Just my 2 cents...

You can improve your 'normal cursor' batting skills if you just go to batting practice.

I'm not griping-I actually like All Star/Easy, except I don't strike out too much. Does anybody play ASB 2 player games?

I'm using the easy setting, and I'm having very realistic stats.

7-5 with the Cubs. Sammy is hitting .388 with 4 homers and 9 RBI. Team is around .275 and scoring around 5 a game.

I almost never strike out --- but the games go by like a flash!

I'll eventually get my timing down and move onto Zone Hitting.

I've tried the cursor, but it's just not my bag, baby ---

I rented ASB '04 for the Xbox. Right now I suck as cursor hitting. But it's like 3rdAnswer said above...it's all about practice.

The real game is just like this. I havn't swung a bat for about 2 years now (I am 28). I would probably look like the biggest fool if I tried to hit a fastball right now.

I'm getting realistic results with normal, except i'm someitmes impatient, so I'm getting lower walks and strike outs. but everything else is good. Since I"m early in the season, a couple of my guys are still over .400.
