such a tough decision, help me out

man this is a tough choice seeing now that wsb got a 9.1 and seems to have added alot from last year makes me wanna pick it up, i had last years game for xbox and i liked it but the gameplay wasnt enough to keep me playing and around may/june of my season i just got bored with it i won like everytime and the computer wasnt even putting up a fight.

so with this said i was thinking about getting mvp for a change of pace and it looks like its got alot of great features and oh yeah i dont like the cursor so that was a plus but im hearing such good things about wsb and good things about mvp but im kinda iffy on a first year title

maybe u guys can help me out on this one, i like my games to be realistic but more importantly fun i really wanna enjoy playing every game, and have a good franchise to play though. its a tough call for me what do u guys think, any help would be greatly appreciated.

and i played high heat already dont really like just feels like the game ive been playing on my pc for years not much different

so im deciding bewteen these 2 help!!!!

Go with MVP dude, its new, fun and realistic. Hopefully they'll fix the few bugs in the final version and then it will rock!!!

i have no idea what game i'll get, last year i got HH2003 and loved it, but this year i want some of the eye candy too, so i'm leaning towards MVP or WSB, hopefully i'll get a chance to rent both of them soon and decide for myself, who knows? i may end up getting HH2004.

I've rented HH(ps2) and ASB(xbox). HH was okay there were some glitches but gameplay was there. ASB was very hard, I couldn't hit the ball, the pitches were too fast and I didn't really have much fun. I own wsb and it is fun but got boring after awhile.

Now I'm looking foward to MVP the meters themselves will make it fun. Pitching will take some "skill" and I don't have to line up a cursor to hit the ball. Also the intervention will make me want to play the franchise, I can enter into any game at any time, a big big plus. One last thing the commentary in the videos makes the atmosphere seem not so boring.

Last year I bought both ASB and WSB on Xbox. I was blown away by WSB for a few weeks, but then it became a helpless case of deja-vu. The games all seem to kind of run into eachother and you consistently feel like you've "been here before." Although WSB looks very pretty and shiny and has a good franchise mode, I still get the feeling that it's the same game as last years. If you have a PS2 and have never played it, then I do recommend at least renting it, cuz it is a very good game, but as a former owner, I am going for MVP this year. It just has the right "feel" to me, I can't explain why.

BTW I feel as though Sega and EA have flip flopped with their baseball titles compared to football. Madden this year was solid, but unspectacular and seemed to lack feel as compared to 2K3 which was more quirky to me but felt like a real game. But in baseball I think MVP has the feel, we will see if it is a more solid game though.
