"SABEAN" or "How Not To Write A Blog" or "I'll Be Representing Myself, Your Honor."

The great FJM has posted a rather funny and interesting article (and response).

In it, the blogger that FJM is responding to has decided to write an article about the great GM that is Brian Sabean of the SF Giants.

But, there's a catch. That same blogger does nothing but ridicule moves made by Sabean. It's strike after strike after strike.

Yes, the blogger makes a good point that Sabean has been handcuffed by ownership for keeping Barry Bonds and his large contract but even then, how can anyone really defend the guy and his moves?

Actually, I guess no one can because even an article dedicated to protecting Sabean's genius does little to sway anyone that genius and Sabean can coexist.

If you want to be a writer, please read this article. It's a prime example of how not to write. Or at the very least, if this man ever decides to defend you in court, run away. Run far, far away. And if by chance you can't because you're handcuffed (*snort* yes, that was intentional) then call your loved ones and take your last family photo because you'll be spending lots of time with Greg Anderson.

      I figured you would.

Guess, us SABR nuts need to stick together...

it's pretty comical really. The dude's been working at a weekly publication for 13 years, I think that speaks volumes about how good of a "writer" he is. Weekly papers are for young writers, people new to the industry. It's not a job you stay at unless you suck.

Once the Pirates are eliminated from the playoffs in mid-May, FJM is the only thing I have to look forward to for the rest of the season. It's actually inspired me to start rereading my copy of Moneyball.

                Iggy responded, too:

Douchebag. I hope FJM doesn't responded and leaves these ****tards hanging.

                  They will leave them hanging.

It's not worth talking about because they only get into Morgan-like articles.

There is nothing to talk about with the responses.
