As much as I am a big baseball fan, and I love the addition of the BTP cam, can someone answer this very serious question?

Is the BTP Cam that big, that it would actually deter so many from buying/playing a particular baseball game?

Its a great view, and a great addition, but in baseball games that have the cam, it seems to take more time to get to the fielding cam when playing with this view, imho.

PS. Im still getting MVP, but just wanted to know others opinions on this.

i don't know if the exclusion of the BTP cam would have deterred me from buying the game. But it is definitely a factor to consider. Pitching from that cam just looks and feels so much better than from behind the catcher. i really got hooked on it last year in HH2003.

To me the BTP cam is the # 1 thing that is making me buy this. It is huge IMO. I want to play a game as close to real life as possible and hitting behing the batter just doesnt have the same feeling as feeling like your watching the game on TV.
Hitting and pitching with this camera view feels more challenging, since it is harder to judge the pitch and swings & misses are more likely than behind the catcher. Im extremely happy this view is in the game.

This is probably why EA did not want their game reviewed before the 11th.
