I asked about the American League specifically because Brandon Webb won the NL Cy Young award just a couple of years ago for the last place D-Backs.

Sheesh. I knew Cliff Lee was having an amazing year, but I didn't realize he only had 2 losses. That's incredible.

            18-2.

Shows you how much family problems can impact a player.

You just never know what these guys are having to deal with off the field. Now that his baby is healthy, he's probably pitching with a whole hell of a lot less stress than he was in prior seasons.

Seriously, Cliff Lee and CC with a healthy roster, we would be the best team in (at least) the AL Central.

This guy just tried to bet me that Cliff Lee would win 21+ games by the season's end and I don't know whether I should take the bet or not. Assuming he starts six more games that means he only has to win half of them. Hmmm, I don't know. What do you guys think?

                        Both Royals games=wins.

Other than that...we might beat CWS at home and the Twins at home.

He'll lose a winnable game to the Royals most likely... things like that always seem to happen to the Tribe.

He has been a good pitcher before. I actually picked this guy up as a free agent early in my fantasy baseball season.....best move I made all year.

He hasn't lost to us yet this year, and he's 10-4 in 17 games against us in his career. Strange things happen, but I don't expect him to lose to the Royals.

EDIT: Just did some quick research. He's had one loss to the Royals in each of the last 4 years. In 3 out of those 4 years, his loss has come in either his last, or second to last game against the Royals, with the last two coming in his last game against the Royals. Crazy stuff.

Unreal, got his 20th win tonight.

No question he should win Cy Young and if only his team was in playoff contention, he'd be my MVP choice.
