Regarding the option to disable power swing

About the power/contact swing...I heard that you can disable the power swing option. So does that leave all of us with a contact swing ONLY ...*or*... does it leave us with a more balanced mix between power & contact.

If we don't get an official answer, the placebo effect is gonna kick in. Some people will say they notice a difference between disabling and enabling. Some will say it's contact on, etc. Ah...

That's another thing the IGN article wasn't clear on. The only way to disable it is to use the "Power Pro" hitting option. To hit with that option on, you press and hold the swing button to charge up a meter, then let it go to swing. The power of the swing is determined by how full your meter was when you let go.

Wow, so you REALLY got to time on that, don't you? Is a cursor still in that one?

Power Pro setting or whatever sounds as intriguing as MVP's pitching meters. Interesting how I haven't heard about this alternative batting mode. Cool!

Power Pro should have a cursor, the only way I'm assuming that is because in the interview with OS, he said there is two new options for swinging, Timing options (cursorless) and Power Pro, so I'll assume PP has a cursor.

And yes, this PP hasn't had much press, I'm not sure why but a lot of people are being surprised by this addition, no one pays attention! I do.
