Well last time I worked for gamestop(mid october) we gave 120 for it now im not sure I would imagine pretty close to that.

I really want to because I only like sports games. It is just that I have so much invested in the PS2 already. Do you know of any sweet deals on the XBOX?

Sweet deals besides those 2 free games sega gt jet set I'm not sure but, try going to your local gamestop or eb and check. Im like you I only play sports games for the most part. I have Halo for xbox and other than that I have all sports games, Inside Drive, nhl 23k, ncaa 2003, soon to be WSB 2k3.....more soon!

I have Halo for xbox and other than that I have all sports games, Inside Drive, nhl 23k, ncaa 2003, soon to be WSB 2k3.....more soon!

it's just a week you can hold off. there is no reason to splurge on a new console just because it's has some game a week earlier! Really imo ps2 and xbox have way too many similar games like wrc/rallisport, moto gp/moto gp3, splinter cell on both, etc. And since you have a pc(you are on here) you can get any of the online games with that. Not bashing xbox(i have it, but don't have a ps2) there isn't enough besides halo, pd:o and pgr justifies a $200 investment.

it's just a week you can hold off. there is no reason to splurge on a new console just because it's has some game a week earlier! Really imo ps2 and xbox have way too many similar games like wrc/rallisport, moto gp/moto gp3, splinter cell on both, etc. And since you have a pc(you are on here) you can get any of the online games with that. Not bashing xbox(i have it, but don't have a ps2) there isn't enough besides halo, pd:o and pgr justifies a $200 investment.

1st: There is enough of a difference to get the XBOX. No memory cards, 5.1 digital sound, Better graphicsLighting,Bump Mapping)
4 player support built in
HDTV capabilities.
And there are more games than just Halo,(that argument no longer exists IMO).
For one Inside Pitch with Online in just a few weeks....
The sports games!!(XBOX is THE sports gaming machine)
Splinter Cell(On games that are cross platform they simply look better on XBOX), Morrowind,HALO2, Brute Force etc..
And if you have broadband there is nothing like LIVE.

IF you can keep both systems then cool as the PS2 is good also, I'm not slamming the PS2. My point is the reasons just given certainly justify the XBOX purchase if you can do it...
