So EA updates a few questions and now everyone wants the game?

This whole thing smells fishy. EA has been known to do this. They will do ANYTHING for sales. In this case could it be a cover up?

Like a house of cards. Everyone. All of you folded like a house of cards.

All over the internet this potential baserunning issue is being discussed. So what does EA do? They go out of their way to let everyone know about the behind the pitcher cam. Whats funny is that if you actually read the updated interview it mentions how "again, advancing runners is based on your players speed and the outfielders arm". It never goes into any actual detail.

I mean the interview mentions on how the guy at EA was reading this board. If so, why wouldnt he mention something SPECIFICALLY about how the baserunners were a little slow? There are no specifics of exactly HOW the whole process was tweaked or by how much.

Why? Because the basrunning is going to be the same as it is in the video.

I think my $50 is worth a couple extra days first...

We can speculate all we want. Until the game comes out no one will really know what's what.
This has got to be the "Conspiracy Year".
Oh and I've had the game pre-ordered for a good while so the "new" info did not sway me into buying it.

Im not crying conspiracy. Im just saying that EA is doing a typical PR-nightmare-hey-lets-bandaid-this-situation-for-sales-sake-operation.

all i know is that i have read 3 or 4 reviews on this game and none of them mention any problems with the baserunning or throwing arm strength, i dont know well see

We just don't know if it's a problem. It might smell fishy but then it could be true.

Actually Steve starting posting on the best on 1/27/03 it's now 3/11/03 I think they gives them enough time to make some changes. the beta si over a month old.
