    Momentum swing

For the first time in a long time, I think you are starting to see the Individual talent/ overall team talent starting to swing back over into the National league. The days of the AL dominance is, I believe, coming to an end. 5 years ago in the A.L you had

    Red Sox
    Yankees
    White Sox
    Angles
    Twins
    A's
    Mariners

and there were just a couple of NL teams that were anywhere close to these teams. Now in the N.L you have

    Phillies
    Mets
    Cubs
    Cards
    Brewers
    Diamondbacks
    Dodgers
Rox's ( rough start this year though )

    In the A.L you have
    Red sox
    Angels
    Tigers(?)
    ?
    ?
The three best records in Baseball all belong in the N.L

    Cards 19-12
    Cubs 18-12
    Diamonbacks 21-9 ( best in baseball )

In the A.L there is only 5 teams that or above .500, in the N.L there are 8.

As a die-hard Cubs fan and fanboy of the N.L, this does my heart some good.

Or has my N.L. fanboyism clouded my judgement?????

The NL having the 3 best records just means there are also a lot of really crappy teams in it.

LOL.....I knew someone would say that, that took about 2 minutes Keep in mind, I'm not saying there is no talent in the A.L, I'm just saying there seems too be a swing.

        Re: Momentum swing

nl teams are a combined .500 this year. Coincidentally, that is the same winning percentage of al teams.

You dont learn much from comparing the leagues this year until they actually play each other.

There is quite a bit of young talent in the NL, but it is still early and there is no way to tell who is legit yet. I really think that the NL is stronger now than it was the last few years though.

I agree with that, the Inter-league games should be pretty fun and telling this year.

Was I the only one that stopped reading when he had the Cards up there among the Mets, Phillies, etc?
