can someone compare behind the pitcher views for both MVP & WSB?
i'd never thought EA would add this view but i read the interview and i'm wondering how it is. can anyone experiment with it later on and fill me in? i was getting WSB solely for its pitcher view thinking it was the only one second to high heat to have a playable pitcher's view this season. but now i hear you can only pitch in pitcher's view and not bat with WSB. the MVP interview says you can do both. thank you.Tags: None -

well, i picked up WSB and i think the pitcher cam looks great. its what i expected. you cant bat with the pitcher cam as i guessed which is kind of a disappointment.for those wondering why i'm fixated on this, its because i used to play sammysosa's high heat with pitcher cam both when pitching and batting. it wont kill the game for me though.
i'd like to hear how MVP's pitcher cam looks though. the catcher's animation when catching the ball could have been better in wsb by moving his glove to the proper place some of the time. which doesnt bother me that much because i was used to it with high heat on the pc, so i guess its somekind of prgramming difficulty thing. still i'd like to see if MVP's catcher does the same. also the pitcher seems to slightly float above the mound before his windup. something which i was also used to in high heat. again i'm wondering mvp's pitcher floats. that would be kind of odd... -

Re: can someone compare behind the pitcher views for both MVP & WSB?
i couldnt resist and i finally picked up MVP. my #1 concern with both games was the playablity of the pitcher cam. i now realise WSB's pitcher cam is perfect. MVP's pitcher cam is almost unplayable imo. the strike zone is just too small or too far away. they sometimes show this kind of camera in real games (ESPN does it sometimes) for a different point of view, but not too often. its not the traditional tv style cam where they make the length between the mound and the batters box seem close up like in WSB by showing all of the action almost at an angle or offcentered or more close to the picther. WSB is exactly how it looks on tv making the batter's strike zone clearly visable. although MVP's catcher perfectly catches the ball with his glove almost perfectly everytime, WSB's does it less but not as bad as HH. also i mentioned before that in WSB the pitcher's feet seem to slightly float over the mound. i realized that that only happens with some pitchers like Mussina. i just wish i could bat with WSB's BTP view though. well thanks for your comentsComment

Re: can someone compare behind the pitcher views for both MVP & WSB?
I personally like the MVP BTP cam, because it is farther away, and you get the feel that the ball actually has to travel 60+ feet to the catcher. The Kzone is kinda small though, but i havent had any problems, because its analog pitch control, like WSB, and thats really what i use to judge where Im pitching.
In WSB, It seems that the batter and the pitcher are really close. I havent tried to hit with it, so i cant answer on that. Even with changes to the speeds, it still seems as though the pitches come in alittle too slow with that view, and the catcher wont always catch it properly, but more than in HH.
