    Greatest pitcher of our era. Especially with everything going on with Roger Clemens... I don't think there's really any question anymore

      I was at the game tonight on a spur of the moment thing.

      It was very, VERY cool to see him get 350 and see Trevor Hoffman's intro for the first time.

        Not only is Maddux the greatest of our era but I bet he'd make a helluva pitching coach if he ever decided to go in that direction.

              Maddux & Smoltz are my favorite two pitchers of my time anyhow. It's amazing for Maddux because he doesn't throw the ball past people. He has one ability that I believe no other pitcher in history possesses/d & that's pinpoint control of all pitches. That sets him apart from everyone else. Thanks!

                oh definitely. His knowledge of the game, the way he studies batters and finds ways to get them out... the guy would be an amazing teacher for young pitchers
