Anyway there's some points in the review that I would like to address.
Fiedling problems - Don't seem to hamper the play. If fact it seems highly unlikely that there is an autodive in routine plays. The reason is the game has a slowdown feature so if you get near the circle the CPU will slow down your player. It's not like ASB where it locks you in but it does make it easier to catch a ball. It might still be there but they make it sound like it's every play which it's not.
Light on features - Hmm okay you don't get any fancy jerseys, you don't get historic players or stadiums. You'll have to get another game for that. However to say that this game needs that is just plain wrong. I think anyone would agree that a franchise mode takes precedent over the frivilous things. MVP doesn't have a lot of frills but it had a pretty competent franchise mode.
Baserunning - This wasn't mentioned in the IGN review. No baserunning problems so far. They move slow well let's just say they look like they move slow but if you give them an inch they'll take the whole damn mile.
k's - Another thing not mentioned in the review. If you pitch like you are playing ASB and throw everything down the middle. Or even HH for that matter the CPU will make contact every time without fail. They just don't miss the ball in pitches they should hit. However if that sounds bad it makes pitching a monster. I had my first K in the game and it felt like I earned it and the CPU chased a pitch out of the zone.
In short I think the IGN review didn't get it right. I think they either were playing the beta or that there was something in the water because they obviously had it out for this game in their wording however the score seems okay at this point. I think it could even be higher.
