Hahaha! Indians Cabrera threw it away!

Turned the 14th ever unassisted triple play and then tossed the ball over the dugout. LOL!

I guess you missed this thread too, seeing as how it was all the way down to 3rd from the top.

LOL 0-for-2. you may want to stick to basketball, CP3.

“He came off the field and tossed the ball into the stands,” explained Indians first base coach Luis Rivera, serving as the 22-year-old Cabrera’s interpreter. “Right as he did, he cried out, ‘Oh, no!”’
      That's pretty ****ing hilarious, though!

I'm not worried bout him having the triple play. It's more hilarious that he threw the ball away when he's only the 14th player ever to do it.

and who cares. the guy gave the ball to a fan. the ball will probably end up meaning more th the fan than it will him. he's already immortalized on the internet and video. he can watch the play whenever he wants. its not like he needs the ball for sentimental value. plus if he keeps the ball, the monetary value is pretty much nil. now some schmuck who was lucky enough to grab the ball will make a few hundred bucks on ebay or something. unless they want to hold on to a piece of history.

The only thing i would have done different, is i wouldn't have given the ball to a fan, i would have donated it to the baseball hall of fame.
But i don't criticize him for it, he just went about his business like it was any old 3rd out. we need more players like him.

And you missed the point of my post, he treated the play, albeit a spectacular achievement, like any normal play. He didn't get a big head about it. He just went about his business like he just made an ordinary 3rd out. He didn't act as if he was bigger than the game just because he has made a very rare play. He didn't throw it away, he just continued on and did his job and acted how a sportsman should act. I said it before and I'll say it again. Sports are missing people like this and need more of them. Less ME ME ME attention whores and more people just playing the game.
