Kirby Puckett. The man you never knew.

According to Sports Illustrated Kirby was not the good old fashion nice guy as everyone thought they knew. Just remember, he grew up here in the projects in Chicago. As the old saying goes,"You can take the n*gga out of the hood but you can't take the hood outta the n*gga."

You could just have easily substituted "brotha" instead of n*gga.

I know. But I'm just quoting how it was told to me.

That mess is garbage. Trying to tear down another brother like they did Mike a few weeks ago, oh well. It may be true.

I'm going to try to say this the nicest way I know how...

Kirby Puckett is a piece of sh*t. Period. Anybody who things otherwise is living in a dream world. There are a TON of other articles detailing other things he's done... the list goes on and on... I was a fan... I'm not anymore.

I'd compare Kirby to OJ. You didn't find out about the private OJ until after the murders. This just proves again that you never really know people. They can have a public persona, but be totally different away from the cameras.
