    Jason Isringhausen

He shouldn't be allowed to pitch the rest of the year. He just blew the lead for the Cardinals again today. He couldn't get anyone out. The Pirates were just teeing off on him.

I've lost count on how many games he has cost the Cards this year.

    Six.

Team effort though today - Piniero coughed up almost the whole lead himself.

Piniero gave up 4 runs in 5 innings pitched. Izzy gave up 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning pitched. Piniero hasn't costs the Cardinals game like Izzy has either.

I figured this team would fizzle but it's really hard to watch them lose leads in the 8th and 9th innings like this.

You can have Heilmann for him.
I don't care about the age difference.....
Izzy= blowin' games for another year or two..
Heilmann= blowin' games for quite some time to come.

Tony Larussa is crazy to have even put him in, I think they should put him on the dl, let him get his head back, and see what happens I wish the cards would call up Perez he is going to be a good closer one day, mine as well see what he can do, he can't be worse than Izzy lol

Its a shame too because Izzy started off the season pretty well too. Now it seems he's blown every game he's come into for the past few weeks.

If Billy Wagner keeps running off at the mouth about his teammates to the New York media you might be able to throw him in the deal too.

No way my friend...Billy Wagner has just become my new favorite Met.
A guy who wants to win...and gets pi$$ed and shows a little emotion when they lose PLUS a guy who will lay it out there instead of being a PC pansy a$$ is a guy I WANT on my club. ......BUT..
I only hope that he at least talked to those guys first before letting it loose like that....that's the one stip....go right up to the guy you have a problem with and lay it on the line. Then I could see losing it to the media like that.

So I guess I'm saying that you could have CARLOS DELGADO in that deal:wink:

After the Oliver Perez incident Wagner was told to keep his comments in-house, to which he obviously listened. I don't mind Wagner, he wants to win and wants everyone else to want to win too. But he can't keep publicly ripping his teammates--even if he is right.

Yeah...but the teamates could just respond right back through the me..di...
Hey...they were just here a second ago...where'd everyone go?!
Like I said....if he spoke to them individually about it already and expressed his views that everyone should share the media load.....and it's the same old song and dance....then I got no problem with him giving them a little rip. It's off the field stuff he's knocking them on.
                          On field stuff.....off limits....IMO.
