I would really like to see a best of his career dvd set come out like Cal Ripken's. Definitely a sure thing for the HOF.

Piazza spent the bulk of his career with the Mets and put up most of his numbers in New York so it is more than likely he will wear a Mets cap in the HOF (especially after the whole screwing him over thing in LA). Although it would be really funny if he wore a Marlins cap when he is inducted.

Don't you realize what you do on the west coast doesn't matter. They only play real baseball in NY, Boston, Chicago, STL....

That being said, he had great years in both cities, he went to the WS with the mets, played for 2 more years there. However he was 2nd in MVP voting twice in LA and nominated 5 times, only 3 times in NY, won rookie of the year in LA. In the playoffs twice for both cities. It's pretty damn close where he was more successful.

...and you're horrible at reading comprehension.

I said that his greatest STATISTICAL years were with the Dodgers, which isn't really disputable. His numbers across the board from '93-'97 were pretty much unmatched during his years as a Met aside from his first 2 seasons.

Not to mention, if you actually read between the lines, you would have noticed that I was implying that Mike should retire as a Met and not for a team that showed him no loyalty. Keep believing that Piazza performed solely for the Mets though.

You have never mentioned the word "STATISTICAL" (caps not withstanding) once in this thread. Give it a rest. Backtracking as always. Piazza will always be known for his moments as a Met more so than as a Dodger. From that epic HR after 9/11 to the confrontations with Clemens.

For someone who touts reading comprehension, I'd suggest grasping the concept yourself before throwing cute little quips such as that.

Is "years" really that hard to understand? The peak of his performance happened when he was in L.A. If you want to act like all of his accomplishments happened when he was a Met, more power to you. "Years" is not synonymous with "moments", nor did I ever say he had greater moments as a Dodger (although the '93 game stands out alot to me). Once again, read in between the lines of the first post I made if your having any trouble about my position on this.

Any way whose to say which moments stood out for whom. He will always be a dodger to me, when he went to NY, I personally lost interest and found new dodgers to hate.

Actually I read your ridiculous post, read something else, came back to it to reply and noticed you edited it. You did it a third time, actually.

My definition of "greatest moments" is obviously different from yours. Despite the fact you think you used the word statistical (yet obviously didn't, let's just ignore it and hopes it goes away), when you see Mike Piazza in media outlets, they will always show "memorable" moments from his time with the Mets more so than the Dodgers.

But yes, if you continue to backtrack, re-edit your posts and make comments with words you don't even use I'm obviously going to off base here. So, my mistake you can't get your point across correctly.
