Then please tell my why my other games work fine? I'm pretty sure it's the way the game accesses your HD and saves information on it. For some reason it corrupts the save file. Try deleting the save information and start over again. This should do the trick. If not then I recommend you get a replacement and try it over again. Make sure when you get a replacement you delete the old game information.

When did you guys get your systems? I got a PS2 in summer of '01 and I got the XBOX this past Xmas and haven't had any problems with either one. Did you guys get systems at launch?

Got mine at launch also. I have heard that the early xboxes got shipped with a weak laser and that they have replaced them in the later ones. Don't know if that's true or not, but sounds good since the people having the problem have old xboxes.

I don't know why it's only EA games that are affected tho. I'm a gameoholic, I buy a few every month and it's only EA so far.

One of the EB employees pointed out that EA games have had this problem in the past. So take it for what it's worth.

I bought mine this past summer and I got that with last years WSB and Onimusha. Haven't seen it more than about 3 or 4 times and i have played the xbox all the time.

It happened to me again tonight. I'm positive it's the disc and not my Xbox. Played my other games and didn't see any DDE. Game is going back tomorrow.
