Hitting Too Easy? Yes/No/Just Right

Maybe it's just me, but isn't that the point?? I mean, an MLB player maybe could hypothetically swing at every single pitche he sees and make contact pretty often. But MLB players don't do that because it would so rarely result in hits. Instead, they wait, work the count, and swing at the ones they know they can get ahold of.

I'm not saying the game definitely represents that well. I don't know what other people are experiencing. Is the problem too much contact, or too many hits? I can also make contact all the time, but if I don't do like a MLBer and wait for that good pitch, I won't get many hits although I'll make alot of contact and not K very much. What does everyone think about that?

This is my fear also JROD. I find hitting pretty challenging on All-Star but hope it doesnt get to easy. As it is now, this game is really holding my attention. So much so, I havent even played more than a couple of innings of WSB. That could change however.

Why the hell are you playing MVP so much and not WSB?From what people are saying on OS WSB 2k3 is the game to get and MVP is also very good but WSB seems to be much better because there's been a lot of hitting and pitching complaints on MVP but no complaints about WSB 2k3 that can't be changed with sliders.
