Well, i've only played a couple of games so far, but the pitcher fooled me on a number of pitches - i was either too early on a changeup, or too late on a fastball. I really hope that this timing challenge will remain as i get better in the game, because so far i really like the hitting interface.

Maybe its me but I played a couple of games yesterday on Pro level using the BHP view to bat and it is pretty darn tough. Its hard to judge pitches and I swing and miss alot. I started my franchise with the Yankees and so far am 0-2 and have lost 1-0 and 4-1. Hitting is very tough for me so far, hitting homers seems impossible (only hit 1 in about 5 total games yesterday) but im still getting used to it.
Love the game tho, I bought this and WSB yesterday and think im enjoying this game more, which I never thought would be possible.

I would say the hitting is just right. Its not too easy and its not too hard.

Personally, the way I judge hitting in a baseball game is the Fastball/Changeup combo. If I can smack a Changeup right after Ive been blazed by a Fastball, then its not too much of a change for me (aka WSB - Still a Great Game), and vice versa. If I cant hit the Change very consistantly after a Fastball, because it really throws my timing off, then I consider the hitting pretty good (aka HH, and MVP).

I know this isnt everyones meter of how good hitting is, but its one of mine.
