Homeruns without using power swing?

I have not played enough to know, but are people getting homeruns at all without using the power swing--on the default cursor without power meter?

Yes, it can be done. I had one with Sweeney using normal swing in Franchise game. Also in Big League Challenge you can hit it with a normal swing, you just have to be dead on to do it.

I have hit a HR in Big League Challenge using Contact swing with Bonds.

I hit one with Vinny Castilla in the first game I played. Damn OF almost robbed it !

Thanks for the responses, guys. Just hit two with Sosa in the BLC myself. Really cool that it happens. Over the course of a season, hopefully it happens with some of the lower-rated players as well. I think it's very unrealistic to have it never happen, because even contact hitters go yard now and again.

Yeah, Ive hit 2 in 2 games with Bagwell off of normal swing on All-Star.
