I did some moves, etc, then went into a franchise and guess what, those moves weren't in there. The free agents were back in the pool.

Yes you can. After making changes you save the rosters BUT THEN you have to Load the rosters. I have made some changes and made myself also and am in my franchise.
At start of franchise do NOT select default rosters.Joshua:

You can start ONE mode with your modified roster before you have to reload it. So if you modify rosters, save them, start a season, then quit, you'll need to load your saved roster again if you want to use it in whatever mode you are playing next.Comment
