Yeah, this is an MVP vs. WSB thread, but Adam's trolling hasn't been limited to just this one thread.

This was his response to BK saying that he has barely played WSB because he is having so much fun with MVP :

Adam, we all know you love WSB, and that is fine and dandy. Aside from this thread, is your WSB fanboyism needed in an MVP forum? Just play the damn game and enjoy it. Trust me, trying to force your opinions on someone won't make your life better.

In no way this game is comparable to Slugfest, please, play the game first, then post the impressions.

Graphics: MVP [best cameras, best stadiums, best lithing efects, fluid animation, player scale, uniforms dirty, true to life faces]
Sound: MVP [the play by play is by far better than the boring play by play in WSB, the crowd, atmosphere, music is a lot better.]
Gameplay:MVP [the all new pitching meters, no cursor for batting, and the PIP baserunning is great]
Franchise: MVP [the franchise goals, momentum meter, game impact and the ability to jump on the middle of a simulation game make the franchise the best out there.
Overall: Please, give me a break, EA is back in baseball and is a big and nice surprise, but this game is the best baseball game this year, bravo EA!!!

I have both. There is something about MVP that is better. Atmosphere perhaps. Its just more fun to play...

I am loving it, BK. I haven't had this much fun with a baseball game in years. I have only played a few games, but the fun factor is insane. I haven't even got to WSB2K3 yet (hears Adam's footsteps in the distance). I expect WSB to be a little more polished and definitely a better sim, but last year's was just stale to me even though it was a good game. It just felt too sterile and "canned", if you will.

So far, so good on MVP though. Damn good first effort for EA as far as I am concerned. I am already frothing at the prospect of what they can do with it next year.

If only it was playable online, I doubt I would leave the house for the next month.
