Crowd noise: MVP
Crowd Appearance: WSB
Announcing: MVP
Batting stances: MVP

WSB has career stats and hall of fame. Records like Hank Aarons HR record can be broken etc. MVP pitching and throwing meters are very nice and unique. Add to the game. Problem with MVP is it is too easy too hit ! MVP is a good game, but I think WSB is better.

i've heard that MVP doesn't have minor leagues. if that is the case, my decision has been made.

i haven't played either game but from the videos i've seen, WSB looks and plays much better but MVP has a better baseball atmosphere with crowd noise and player intros. i can't get over how terrible some of MVP's animations are though. and fielders catching balls that are at least 5 feet over their heads or in front of them? ridiculous. it seems WSB is the way to go for hardcore baseball fans. MVP could be fun for a casual gamer.

I agree 100% hardcore baseball fans (like myself) will enjoy WSB 2k3 a lot more. MVP is a good two player game that is fun just not the most realistic. It's a first year game so not bad for a start and a addition to sliders just might be enough to put it over the top. Maybe next year EA.

best bet is to rent em both. I hae ASB, MVP and WSB. I like them all for different reasons. Boils down to personal preferance.
