    IGN criticism was wrong!

The players sometimes do come off the bag when recieving a throw. This only happens when you have the throwing meter all the way up though. All it is is an offline throw. I have had the tagging problem occur. It happens the most at home plate. I had it happen at second base once too. If you gun down a runner the plater will swipe tag before he gets there and he will be safe. I think once you have caught the ball you must take a few steps toward the runner then it will tag him. The computer did this once against me. I'm not sure I explained that well....There are a lot of over the back catches but nothing to unrealistic or that major of a deal.

No IGN made it seem like this was a glitch but from what I've noticed on my game so far, the only time they come off the bag is when I short arm the throw and they come off alittle to try to stop it from rolling on the dirt so much.

but a right fielder throwing someone out at first is something that happens from time to time in real baseball, especially if the runner is slow and the RF has a good arm

It's fine as long as it happens VERY rarely, as it does in real baseball. I have also seen this once in the 5 games I've played, and it concerns me a little. Hopefully it's rare because I'm really loving the game and would hate for a problem like that to ruin it.

once in 5 games, so what? it could turn out to be once in 100 games.

If it's only once in 100 games that would be great. But the fact that several people have seen it makes me wonder if it's too common. Hopefully it's not.
